Customer profile and brief
As a full-time working single mum of 2. In need of an update to her living room. No room felt like her own and she desperately wanted a room that was cosy and had warmth. As a single mum, she felt nervous about having tradesmen in her house, so really wanted a woman she could trust

Design Process
The previous space was just white. There was no personality in the room and initially they only wanted one wall completing. As part of the brief we talked about the various options of wallpaper and paint and how continuing round onto the archway wall would give the room a more finished look. We looked through various wallpaper designs and along with a 3D plan my customer was able to confidently make a decision out of her comfort zone and went with a bold wallpaper.
The wallpaper worked perfectly pairing with the current sofa tones and I opted for some light wood strip panelling to add the texture.
I also up-cycled her TV unit, sideboard and nest of tables. This not only keeps costs down but allows you to keep furniture that works and make it fit the new decor.
